These decals can easily be heat pressed for a quick and stylish update.
Here are some instructions for pressing DTF (Direct to Film) transfers:
• Preheat: Preheat the heat press to 106 to 177 degrees Celsius.
• Prepare the garment: Place the garment on the press and pre-press for 5–7 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture.
• Position the transfer: Place the transfer sheet on the garment with the printing side up.
• Press: Press with firm pressure for the recommended time, which is usually 10–20 seconds.
• Cool and peel: Let the garment cool to room temperature, then gently peel the film off from one corner to the other.
• Repeat: If the transfer isn't fully adhered, repeat the pressing step.
• Final press: For added durability, you can do a final press with parchment paper over the transfer. Press for 10–20 seconds, then immediately peel away the parchment paper.
Here are some tips for pressing DTF transfers:
• Cover the transfer with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to prevent the adhesive from melting onto the platen.
• Use a guard sheet for a glossy look.
• Avoid scorch marks by using the correct temperature for the material you're printing on.
• Wait 24 hours before stretching or washing the transfer.
